Israel has much to learn from the Greeks in the naval warfare.

Israeli navy is comparatively small, it does not have an experience with the rival Turkish navy with which now competes in the Eastern Med. On the other hand Greeks knows the Turkish navy very well. Greeks also have an important naval history, expertise with NATO standard training, participation in multinational operations and exercises in which they excel, the experience of operating in extremely difficult for operation waters in the Aegean, a true nation of the sea indeed.

Israel on the other hand can offer as an exchange its advanced military industry and technology.

Both nations should care for the security in the Eastern Med against terrorist groups or states that will try to jeopardize the extraction of hydrocarbons and the ship lanes or underwater pipelines that will transfer these hydrocarbons to consumers.
